What Love Really Is

Definition; A profound, tender, passionate affection for another person.

The ultimate act of love is sacrifice, let me give you and example: one of the most known verse in
the bible explains what love really is; John 3:16 - for God so loved the world that he gave his only
begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

This passage of the bible explains exactly what love is, love is about giving and sacrificing, and
to me this is one the reasons why many relationships suffer; People go into relationships with selfish
intentions which does not add value to anyone and ultimately end relationships.

Let this be a lesson to all us, let's love and give more. the secret to living is giving.

Daily Message 5/25/2017

Numbers 6: 24-26

The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.

Today's message is a blessing given by God to Moses. God told Moses to speak to Aaron and give his sons the blessings above.

This is a great blessing given by God, and this is one i'll be using to give to my children, if  it is written, then this blessing is for anyone who believes.

Pass this message along to your children. Bless your children each day, so that they may grow on the Lord's presence.

Hope you have a blessed day.

Daily Message 5/24/2017

Psalms: 37:4

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.

I love this verse, in this verse David tells us something so simple
but so hard to do sometimes.

With all the distractions of our daily
lives, we sometimes forget to delight on our creator and let Him
 fulfill our desires.

Let this be a reminder to all of us, without the
Lord we may get things but not conquer the ultimate reward, our
salvation, so let's rejoice on the Lord and give thanks for all that he is done for humanity.

Why The Rich Get Richer

According to the chart below as of 2009 if your household income was above $380,000 annual, you were considered part of the elite 1%.  The 1% net worth according to the Fed data was nearly $8.5 million, that’s 70 times the median household’s net holdings of $121,000.

In this blog I will share my thoughts on why I believe the rich get richer, the poor get poorer and the middle class keeps shrinking. I will also suggest some ideas on how we might be able to join the elite 1% or decrease that number and widen the gap. Because let’s all face it, living paycheck to paycheck is not fun.

  Coming To America

I remember sitting on my grandmother’s front steps with my dad and my brother when my dad told us that he had run into a cousin of his who was living in the USA who told him about the idea of moving to America. My dad was no stranger to the US since he had come here several times on business trips, including a 1 year trip in the same year I was born.  My dad was a mechanical engineer for the sewing machine company, Singer, at the time of my birth but he made it back to Brazil in time to greet me when I was born.

How I Lost 36 Pounds

It’s safe to say that the world of weight loss is very confusing and discouraging. How many calories should I eat? Should I avoid all carbs or just cut down? What kind of exercises should I be doing? There are so many diet and exercise programs out there that it’s hard to know where to begin.

Let me first tell you that losing weight was the hardest thing for me to accomplish, until I figured out how simple it is to do. I, like so many others, always procrastinated about it. Throughout this process I also learned so many ways not to lose weight, ha-ha.

In this blog, I will break it down into 3 easy steps so that you can reach your goal weight, and stay there. My weight loss was a total of 36 pounds. I was 205 lbs when I decided to take control of my weight management, and now I maintain a weight of 169 lbs.
